Many people perceived the verse as in for other things than financial. I believe it is. but He wont let us always be a "striving financially Christian". or a mediocre when we can be the BEST . but it is also our JOB to be the VESSEL or the NEW WINE CASE... always be ready to renew ourselves.. ready to change... ready to receive...
